I’m not your average personal self development coach. Sure, I share plenty of personal growth tips on my podcast, Audacious Freedom, but I don’t stop there. I’m not here to model perfection or to teach you how to sanitize your life. I’m here to inspire and motivate you to live out loud, freely and unafraid. I believe that is my true cosmic gift. I’m here to support you as you find your own unique version of you.
I worked in Corporate Human Resources for 35 years as both an internal and external program manager and consultant. I specialize in coaching leaders and individual contributors to set intentions and to reach their personal and professional goals in life.
I have an M.A. in Human Resources Management from Marymount University, where I graduated Magna Cum Laude. This degree provided me the foundation to develop and implement Human Resources and Organizational Development interventions that support high-performing individuals, teams, and organizations. I am very passionate about re-imagining a human-centered Human Resources profession, where employees are valued as individual souls and considered more than “headcount” or worse, as FTE’s (Full Time Equivalents).
I am also a certified Feng Shui Master with a BTB Feng Shui Practitioner Certification™. With this certification, I have adapted the 5,000 year-old teachings about how to thrive in a stressful world into contemporary and practical personal development tools and techniques for my clients.
On a personal level, I am a trailblazer in the DIY-parenting space and am leading the way to an alternative way of creating a family. Having been divorced for 10 years and with no relationship prospects on the horizon, I asked a friend if he would be willing to donate so that I could become a mom. Without any doctors or medical professionals involved, I conceived my baby at the age of 42.
Today, I am the proud mom of a 13-year-old daughter. We are a complete family of two. My friend/donor has no legal rights or financial responsibilities and my daughter calls him “father” (as a joke – the kid is funny!). Pre-COVID, the three of us would visit each other a few times a year, and I am happy that my daughter can look her donor/”father” in the eye and not wonder about the identity of her biological father.
